Born in Spain, Luis Bunuel is widely credited as the founder of surrealist cinema. This essential collection includes some of his best known work: Diary of a Chambermaid (1964), Belle de Jour (1967), Tristana (1970), The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972) and That Obscure Object of Desire (1977) - as well as equally brilliant but lesser-known films such as The Phantom of Liberty (1974) and The Milky Way (1969).
